Call our House at 330.253.5400 during office hours so that we may assist you. Office hours are M-F 8am-10pm and weekends and holidays 9am-9pm. More information can be found on our Request a Room page.  Please note that due to an overwhelming demand for our services we consistently operate with a Waiting List.
We ask each family for a $10 per night donation to help cover operating costs. However, no one is ever turned away due to the inability to cover that donation.
The amount of time on the Waiting List varies greatly. We are never sure when to expect our current guests to be discharged which makes your wait time hard to predict. If you are on the Waiting List feel free to call our House daily at 330.253.5400 to check status.
We can check you in on your day of arrival between the hours of 9am-8pm. If you check-in early and your room is not ready, we can store your items securely and you are welcome to use our common areas. If your travel plans requires that you check-in outside of those hours please let us know so we can make arrangements to accommodate your schedule.
If you arrive for a reservation you are welcome to stay with us as long as your child is admitted or receiving long-term treatment at Akron Children’s Hospital. If you come off of our wait list, we will update you daily on the status of your room.
To check-in please park on State Street in the area marked ‘Ronald McDonald House Guest Registration”.  Once you are registered you may park for no-charge in the Bowery Street Parking Deck (P1). You may park at any of the meters on the street however, the city does police those meters. Parking meters are enforced M-F from 8am-6pm. Campus Map
